Holiday Closures, Changes in Operations

Beginning March 1, the clinic's hours of operation will change to 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This change will be effective for all areas except the Pharmacy, which will continue to operate 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. From 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Pharmacy will process medications previously called in or dropped off, along with acute medication needs. The appointment line will be open from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. If you need to speak with someone outside of these hours, please call 800-TRICARE.

Thank you for your support as we transition to these new hours, and thank you for choosing to trust us with your healthcare needs.

Radiology Clinic

Radiology services will be temporarily unavailable at the 27th Special Operations Medical Group over the next 8-12 weeks. If you require radiology services, please visit one of the following locations:

Clovis Plains Regional Medial Center: 575-769-7341

Clovis Open MRI: 575-763-6144

Roosevelt General Hospital: 575-359-1800

Imaging Center of Clovis: 575-935-9729

Dependents do not require an authorization for radiology services; however, the benefit of having your medical provider issue a hand script is the ability to take that script directly to one of the locations listed above. There is no need for dependents to visit the Referral Management Center for off-base radiology services. Active-duty members will require a referral from their PCM prior to services rendered. All patients are advised to request a disk with their images before they leave their appointment.

Contact the TOPA office at 575-784-7972 if you have additional questions or concerns.

Physical Therapy

Don't suffer in silence. Come by the Referral Management Center and we can help. If you are active duty, our new physical therapist at the clinic can see you in 2-3 weeks for a routine appointment. If you have recently had surgery, you will be worked as soon as possible.

If you are a dependent and would like to be seen in Portales, all you have to do is call United Healthcare at 877-988-9378 and request a location change.

If you have a referral for physical therapy that you do not plan on using, please call us at 575-784-4425 so that we can close your referral. Doing so will help open availability for those that need to be seen.

Cold and Flu CBT Certificate: Beneficiaries can go through the CBT and print-off the certificate at the end from home and work centers. The certificate must be presented at the pharmacy to receive over-the-counter cold medications without having to see a PCM (all exceptions mentioned in the CBT).
