7/30/2012 - CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The Order of Daedalians, Clovis, N.M., chapter, held their first meeting of the year at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., July 26. During the gathering Chief Master Sgt. Paul Henderson, 27th Special Operations Wing command chief, briefed them on the base's mission.

The Order of Daedalians was created in 1933 for pilots who flew during World War I and has since grown to include any rated pilot who has served in the military. It is a usually a social assembly used to further the fellowship of this tight-knit group of officers.

Most members in the Clovis area are World War II and Vietnam veterans. The Order of Daedalians would like to welcome other rated pilots from within the Special Operations community. To learn more about it visit the order's homepage.
