27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs
9/24/2012 - CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The 27th Special Operations Wing hosted the band "Full Service" in the Drop Zone at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., Sept. 20.
Full Service provided free, live entertainment to Air Commandos stationed here as well as members of the Cannon community. The band is a quartet consisting of Tim "Bonesaw" Kepner, David "Hoag" Kepner, Elliot "Smell" Larden and Sean "Sunny" Eckel.
Not only was performing on a military installation a new experience for the Austin, Texas-based band, it was also the first stop on their "West to West Coast" 20 Tour.
"This is our first venture west on tour and I think it's great that we were asked to perform at Cannon," said "Bonesaw", Full Service guitarist and vocalist. "Hopefully, we can return to provide a bigger event and make a better impact."
The band members all expressed hopes that their performance would help boost Airmen morale at Cannon.
"We prefer to perform at smaller venues like this rather than clubs or larger sites, so we can really feel connected to our audiences," said "Hoag", Full Service drummer and lead vocalist. "We are in the business of making people happy so it is nice to be able to give back."
