33 SOS named AFSOC Special Operations Squadron of the Year
The 33 Special Operations Squadron at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., was named Air Force Special Operations Command’s Special Operations Squadron of the Year for 2012. Despite being the lowest manned Remote Piloted Aircraft squadron in the Department of Defense, the dedication of the Airmen led the 33 SOS to become the go-to squadron for find, fix and finish operations.
