318th SOS welcomes new commander, Lt. Col. Michael Ellis

Col. Michael Jackson, 27th Special Operations Group commander, hands the 318th Special Operations Squadron guideon to its new commander, Lt. Col. Michael Ellis, at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., May 17, 2019. Ellis took command from Lt. Col. David Erpelding, and will resume the squadron's mission of enabling special operations in the joint environment, providing resiliency to the force and serving as the premier ISR-T support to joint partners.
