Media Release: Cannon Airman dies after physical training Published Jan. 20, 2017 27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- A 27th Special Operations Wing Airman collapsed while exercising on base Jan. 20 around 8:45 a.m. She was transported to medical facilities and subsequently declared deceased. The Airman’s name is being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin has been notified. The cause and details surrounding the death are under investigation.
