CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Commanders and chiefs with the 27th Special Operations Wing took on students with the Airman Leadership School in several back-to-back volleyball games in the Fitness Center at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., May 23.

Col. Buck Elton, 27 SOW commander, played his final match against the ALS as he prepares to relinquish command of the wing later this summer.

These volleyball matches between the commanders and chiefs help build teamwork amongst the ALS students.

The students were defeated in all three games; they put up a decent fight, but were ultimately left humbled by their competitive counterparts.
