CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Col. Jeffrey Gillen assumed command of the 27th Special Operations Medical Group at a ceremony held May 31 near the flightline at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M.

Members of the 27 SOMDG and others within the Cannon community came out to wish Col. Scott Corcoran, 27 SOMDG former commander, continued support and success at his next assignment.

Col. Buck Elton, 27th Special Operations Wing commander, presented Gillen with the group's guidon officially sealing the change of command.
