CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Sports Day, an annual base-wide event that fosters teamwork, was held at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., May 18. Airmen competed in softball, flag football, bowling, three-on-three basketball, four-on-four sand volleyball, skeet, 5K race, horseshoes, tug-of-war and punt-pass-kick. The top team, 27th Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was awarded the sports day championship trophy after top placement in four events.
