Air Commandos stationed at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., can get three months free club dues if they join the Air Force Club between May 14 and July 13.

In addition to free dues, new members will also be enrolled in a free cash back rewards program and will get a scratch-off card for a chance to win a cash prize upon application.

"Ideally we want all Cannon personnel to consider club membership and understand the benefits of joining," said Yolanda Romero, 27th Special Operations Force Support Squadron marketing director. "The club is a great way to get involved within our Cannon community and to take part in the numerous events that happen on base."

Club members receive discounts when they attend military events and a discount when dining at The Landing Zone.

"The more members we get, the more the members will get back," said Romero. "In addition, by taking part in enough events each month, members essentially get back their dues thru discounts."

Club credit card holders earn two percent cash back at Morale Welfare Recreation activities, The Exchange and the commissary. Members also receive one percent cash back on all other purchase through Chase Bank.

There are many great incentives behind becoming a club member. One such incentive is the opportunity for members to apply to win $25,000 in scholarships each year.

For more information on how to become a club member, visit or call The Landing Zone at 784-2853 to pick up an application or visit www.afclubs.net to fill one out electronically.
