Cannon Construction Update: Welcome Signs Published Jan. 26, 2012 27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Contractors began work on a "Welcome to Cannon" sign in the grassy area of the loop leading to the Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., main gate in November 2011. The estimated completion date for this project is February 2012.
