Cannon Chapel holiday services Published Dec. 19, 2011 CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- With the holidays fast approaching, here are some updates of service times being provide through the Cannon Chapel at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. Las Posadas, Nine Days of Prayer, Dec. 14-22 Las Posadas is a Catholic Chapel event, a Novena (nine days of prayer), that reenacts the journey of Mary and Joseph as they searched for a place to have the Christ child. Host families from the community welcome visitors each evening from December 14th through 22nd. Schedules are available at the chapel. Living Nativity, Dec. 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Make Christmas Come Alive by bringing the whole family to the Living Nativity. Christmas Worship Schedule, Dec. 24-25 Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 Catholic Christmas Pageant 4:30 p.m. Catholic Christmas Eve Mass 5 p.m. Protestant Candle Light Service 7 p.m. Christmas Day, Dec. 25 Catholic Mass 9:30 a.m. Protestant Service 11 a.m. New Years Eve Catholic Mass, Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. Beginning New Years Eve, Saturday Mass will be held at the chapel on Saturdays at 5 p.m. If you have any questions, call the Chapel at 575-784-2507.
