CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez visited Cannon Air Force Base and met with 27th Special Operations Wing leadership on July 27.

Her visit included a 27 SOW mission brief, base tour and lunch at the Landing Zone. She also viewed base construction sites from the control tower and toured the Remotely Piloted Aircraft operations center. The trip was the governor's first official visit to a New Mexico Air Force Base since taking office in January 2011.
