Cannon Care Group to meet June 28 Published June 14, 2011 27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The next meeting of the Cannon Care Group will be held June 28, 10 a.m. to noon at the Landing Zone. Cannon Care Group is an open forum for military members and spouses that meets monthly to address the medical challenges that impact Cannon's military families. The group also ensures that the Patient Advice and Consultation Team (PACT) is effectively addressing these challenges. The group assists individuals who are having trouble receiving appropriate medical care. They bring requests and concerns to the 27th Special Operations Wing Medical Group commander and help shape effective solutions. Their efforts also lay groundwork to prevent future medical care challenges for Cannon families. The Cannon Care Group is a resource for servicemembers and TRICARE beneficiaries that provides support and assistance when needed. Those eligible can contact a patient advocate or attend a Cannon Care Group meeting anytime to discuss their situation. Confidentiality is highly respected and strictly maintained, and the focus is always on developing solutions for military families. The meeting will be held in the Roost Room it the Landing Zone.
