Ride-2-Recovery for wounded warriors at Cannon

  • Published
The base Fitness and Sports Center will host Ride-2 Recovery on Feb. 26, a nationwide event that benefits wounded warriors' mental and physical rehabilitation.

Ride 2 Recovery is produced by the Fitness Challenge foundation, a non-profit organization in partnerships with the military and VA Volunteer Service Offices that features cycling as the core activity. R2R raises money to support spinning and outdoor cycling programs.

This event is done in multiple one-hour Spin cycling sessions and each class begins with a new instructor. It starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.

Individuals interested in participating can register at the gym or on Sharepoint. For more information on the national program, go to www.ride2recovery.
