Volunteers needed for tax season Published Dec. 16, 2010 By 27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs Office CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The base legal office is looking for volunteers to prepare taxes for active-duty Airmen, their families, and retirees. Anyone can volunteer: military, civilians, spouses, retirees or dependants. Volunteers must complete a week of tax training class, Jan. 3-7, 2011, at Clovis Community College, on Monday, 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Volunteers will be assigned to work either Session 1, Jan. 24 - through March 4, or Session 2, March 1 through April 18.
