A ribbon-cutting ceremony at the BX May 14 at 8 a.m. will mark the completion of a facelift that began in June 2009 to provide maximum usage of its space and add more variety for shoppers.

Maj. Gen. Bruce Kasella, Army and Air Force Exchange Service commander, and Col. Stephen Clark, 27th Special Operations Wing commander, will officially open the facility. The Cannon public is invited to attend the ceremony and visit the BX.

The eight-month renovation was done incrementally to reduce the impact on shoppers, according to Jeff Willis, BX manager. New services will include a Subway Sandwich shop, a gift shop that also offers floral arrangements as well as more vendors.
