New DFAC opens - post office, mail center relocate to it Published Dec. 8, 2009 CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The new dining facility will officially open Dec. 11 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. The post office and official mail center will move to the new dining facility at this time as well. Hours of operation for the post office are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is open during the lunch hour. Cash and check only accepted for transactions, cash only for money orders. The mail center, which provides general delivery and dorm resident special carrier services, operates 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
