Tops in Blue returns to local area Published Feb. 16, 2010 CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N. -- Tops In Blue, an action-packed adventure of music and dance will perform free at Eastern New Mexico University's Greyhound Arena in Portales on March 6 at 7 p.m. The doors will open to the public at 6:15 p.m. According to a press release, this year's, Tops In Blue continues its long-standing tradition of "family entertaining family" by showing what has made Tops In Blue a "must-see" event every year for over half a century. There will be Latin sounds, All-American country music, and hits from the top of the charts. There will also be music from Broadway shows, dazzling lights, costumes and precision choreography for which Tops In Blue is known worldwide. Tops In Blue '09 keeps 56 years of touring tradition by visiting all bases throughout the United States and more than 25 foreign countries. Their tour schedule spans more than 120 locations and includes entertaining forward-deployed troops in various locations in Iraq, Qatar, Afghanistan and Kuwait.
