Community notes Published Nov. 30, 2009 CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- What's the forecast? Cannon's Weather Flight has developed and gone live with a weather Web page, hosted on www.cannon.af.mil. It's on the right side of the page under featured links, and in addition to flying weather updates, includes the latest weather observations, forecasts, satellite imagery, and weather radar imagery for the region. There are additional links for the National Weather Service and post fire weather briefings as well. Thrift Store, Airmen's Attic need donations, consignments The Cannon Spouses' Club, which hosts the Thrift Store and Airmen's Attic, needs donations and items for consignment. Clothes, especially for babies, furniture, appliances and kitchen items are just some of the items that can be donated 24/7 in the donation box in front of the store in Bldg. 310. Consignments are accepted during store hours, Monday and Thursday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Tuesday, 3-6 p.m., and the first and third Saturday of each month, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Consigned items return 80 percent back to the seller. For more information, call 784-7878. Breakfast with Santa Parents and their children can enjoy breakfast with Santa Dec. 5 starting at 9 a.m. at The Drop Zone. Along with breakfast, there will be sing alongs, craft activities and photos with Santa opportunties. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children and only 100 will be sold.
