DBIDS for all Published Nov. 30, 2009 By Staff Report 27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Everyone, to include civilians, contractors and visitors, in addition to active duty military, must register with the Defense Biometrics Identifications System, which will provide for a more secure installation. Registration can be completed at the following locations: Main Gate Visitor Control Center, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. The VCC is the primary registration stations for contractors and visitors; ID card section at the Military Personnel Flight in Bldg. 600, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The MPF is the primary location for incoming personnel as well as those who are receiving new identification cards; and The atrium at the base clinic, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This location is for active duty military and their families. Registration takes 15-30 minutes and individuals must bring either their active duty, contractor, dependent or retired ID cards. Other than active duty individuals must also bring their drivers license and social security card. No registration is required for children who do not have an ID card.
