School Flu vaccinations Published Oct. 6, 2009 CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Clovis Municipal Schools will conduct vaccination clinics for seasonal flu at schools Oct. 19-23. Vaccinations are free for Clovis students. If a parent or guardian did not receive a flu information packet, one can be obtained at the child's school. Should children experience a fever over 100 degrees and a cough or sore throat, they should not attend school until 24 hours after the fever ends. A child who comes to school with these symptoms or develops them while at school will be sent home. Parents must ensure the school can reach them during the school day.
