New hours at CDC
Beginning Oct. 5, the Child Development Centers and Youth Centers will open at 6 a.m. The extended hours will be evaluated in 60 days to determine usage. 

Medical Town Hall
A medical town hall meeting will be held Oct. 15 at noon in the Wingman's Conference Hall (the Atrium area).

This is a forum for the 27th Special Operations Medical Group and its beneficiaries to interact and address concerns. 

Housing information
The housing information has been updated at www.cannon.af.mil/families.asp.

The site now has wait times, floor plan illustrations and local housing market information. For additional rental and home sale information, go to www.ahrn.com.

Fire Prevention Week
The Cannon Fire Department will host the National Fire Prevention Week campaign Oct. 4-10. This year's theme is "Stay Fire Smart."

Open house will be at the fire department, Bldg. 158 on Oct. 7, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The Fire Muster at Unity Park begins at 9 a.m. on Oct. 9. Festivities include the bucket brigade, obstacle course, truck pull, hose relay and more.

Extended hours at BK, Taco Bell
Burger King and Taco Bell begin a 60-day trial period of extended hours Oct. 1. The new schedule will be:
Burger King
Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. for the drive thru and 6:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. for the dining room.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. for the drive thru for the drive thru and the dining room will be open until 8 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. for the drive thru and the dining room will be open until 6 p.m.
Taco Bell
Monday through Friday: 10:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Stress Reduction/Management class
The Health and Wellness Center will host classes on the fourth Friday of each month. They are available for all active duty personnel, beneficiaries, retirees, and civilians. Sign up through the HAWC by calling (575) 784-1004.

Joint Mobility/Early Morning Recharge class
Classes will be held at the Cannon Fitness Center racquetball area on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6 to 7 a.m. to focus on joints and increasing mobility and flexibility. These are space-available classes, so no sign up
is required.
