Deployed Spouses Dinner
CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- A teddy bear sits upon the sign-in table at the dining facility during a deployed spouse's dinner September 8. Master Sgt. Tory Gard, 27th Special Operations Force Support Squadron, is the primary point of contact for the event and can be reached at 784-4456. The Airman and Family Readiness center runs the dinners quarterly and the next dinner will have a Christmas theme and will be held December 8. The dinners are meant to give parents and spouses a time to get together and not have to cook or clean for a night and have dinner prepared for them with gifts given to them funded by private organizations around the base.
