Lets Plant A Tree!
CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Shannon Atencio, Las Vegas District Forestry Department, and Col. Ruedi Kaspar, 27th Special Operations Wing vice commander, plant a tree at Doc Stewart Park here April 22. The Arbor Day Foundation named Cannon as a 2009 Tree City USA community and presented Cannon with its first Growth Award.
