Gen. Michael A McAuliffe Award ∙Maj. Gen. Robert C. Thompson Award ∙Brig. Gen. Archie S. Mayes Award ∙Senior Master Sgt. Gerald J. Stryzak Award ∙Air Force Outstanding Civil Engineer Environmental Flight Award The following 27th SOCES individuals won first place: ∙Harry P Rietman Award - Kenny Cable, ∙Maj. Gen. Eugene A. Lupia Award (Airman) - Senior Airman David Chopik ∙Maj. Gen. Eugene A. Lupia (military technician) - Staff Sgt. Eric Schmidt ∙Outstanding Civil Engineer Manger of the Year Award (civilian) - Richard Givney ∙Outstanding Civil Engineer Manager of the Year Award (civilian supervisor) - Todd Miller ∙Outstanding Civil Engineer Manager of the Year Award (ARC officer manager) - Lt. Col. Dale Fox ∙Air Force Outstanding Individual Community Planner of the Year - Maj. Armand Stafford The 27th SOCES won the Gen. Thomas D. White National Environmental Policy Act Award for Team Excellence The 27th SOCES also won the Balchen/Post Outside Agency Award: All AFSOC award winners will be nominated to compete at the Air Force-level competition.
