 The Fathers Day golf tournament is one of the larger golf tournaments the Whispering
Winds Golf Course sponsors during the year. With the help of Services marketing
securing commercial sponsorship hole-in-one prizes, this year's event was
another huge success. Hamilton Big Country Truck Center sponsored a 2007 Pontiac
G6-Coupe for a hole-in-one on the 15th hole, a five-day, four- night golf vacation at a resort in Hawaii, Scotland or France on hole 3, at hole 7 and 17; thirty-six dozen Nike power distance balls and a Nike Sasquatch driver on hole 11.*

Although no golfer was lucky enough to score a hole-in-one, seven teams out of field
of 22 won gift certificates and five individual players won gift certificates in the
closest-to-the-pin contests.

The team of Jim and Robert Goff and Phil and Perry Jackson turned in a score of
55.5, nudging out the second place team of Anthony Smith, Larry Looney, Braden
Taylor and Pete Wilt who shot a score of 56.7.
Third place went to Mel Crossan, Dennis Mills, Larry Oehm and Greg Pusateri.

Other winners were:

fourth place - Keith Kizer, Ed Thornsbury, Frank Talbot and Shane Shallenberger;
fifth place: Ryan Hahn, Mark Hernandez, Josh Creeger and Brian Kosier;
sixth place Jeff Wurn, Michael Wurn, Tim Bloink and Ralph Haman; and rounding out
the field in seventh was the team of Tyson Hardy, Richard Gallegos, Richard Martinez
and Steve Gallegos.

Closest-to-the-pin winners were: Jim Goff, hole 3, George Jones hole 7, Roger Dial hole
11, Pete Wilt hole 15 and Randy Dixon hole 17.
