Hearts Apart quarterly dinner
All spouses and family members of deployed or remote personnel are invited to dinner at Pecos Trail Dining Facility from 5-7 p.m. on June 12, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Airman's Attic
The Airman's Attic is open 10:30-1:30 p.m. on June 19, noon to 3:30 p.m. June 12 and June 26 and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Staff sergeants and below and their families are eligible to select up to 20 items free per week for personal use.

The Attic is located in the same building as the post office and community center. Donations are welcome, but should not be left outside the door.

Transition Assistance
The next Transition Assistance Program Seminar (TAPS) is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 12, 13 and 14.
Pre-Separation counseling is mandatory for all personnel separating or retiring and is required before signing up for TAPS. Spouses are welcome to attend

Low back pain clinic
Learn proper lifting, strengthening and stretching techniques starting at 10:30 a.m. on June 18 in the Aerobics Room at the Fitness Center. Wear PT attire to learn by doing.

School and sports physicals
The 27th Medical Group will conduct school and sports physicals from 9 - 11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. on June 16 and July 14. Students and sports participants can sign-up by calling Central Appointments at 784-2778 or 1-888-544-2778. For more information, call 784-4078.

Healthcare Council meeting
The Community Healthcare Council meets at 4 p.m. on June 27 at the Landing.
All 27th Medical Group beneficiaries are invited to attend.
The Community Healthcare Council is a forum for the 27th Medical Group to interact with beneficiaries. Information on medical services, medical group events and the latest health benefit information is provided, along with a forum for feedback to the 27th Medical Group.

Pre-separation counseling
If you are considering separating or retiring within the next year pre-separation counseling at the Airman and Family Readiness Center is mandatory and is recommended before you take Transition Assistance Program Seminar (TAPS). For an appointment, call 784-4228.

Virtual commissary feedback sought
Officials at the Defense Commissary Agency at Fort Lee, Va., are seeking customer feedback on potential expansion of its Virtual Commissary. Customers can provide comments using a short, three-question survey that is posted online at https://www.commissaries.com/online_grocery_survey.cfm. The survey is available now and will remain posted until mid-July.
Customers access Virtual Commissary through DeCA's official Web site, http://www.commissaries.com. The link is located under the "Shopping" tab. Authorized shoppers log on using their last name, Social Security number and date of birth. The information is verified by DEERS, the Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System.
