Cannon Air Force Base will open its gates to the public on June 6, 2026, for a commemorative air show themed “Normandy to Now.” This event honors the legacy of the D-Day landings while showcasing the evolution of American’s unconventional airpower from WWII to today.

General admission to the event is free and open to the public; however, tickets are required for access.

To reserve your ticket for the airshow please visit the official Wings Over Cannon home page: Wings Over Cannon. General admission is free, with VIP experience tickets also available. VIP access includes premium amenities designed for comfort and convenience. Members of the public can also purchase VIP parking.

All attendees will experience a full lineup of aerial demonstrations, including performances by modern Department of War aircraft, WWII-era warbirds, as well as Cannon’s own Air Commandos. Historic displays, hands-on activities, and science, technology, engineering and mathematics exhibits will also be included in the day’s events.
