CFC success at Cannon Published Dec. 20, 2013 By Senior Airman Ericka Engblom 27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- It has been another very successful year for the Combined Federal Campaign at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. As the world's largest charity campaign, the CFC gives military members and federal government employees a chance to donate toward various non-profit organizations. The campaign ran from Oct. 28 through Dec. 15 and raised a grand total of $149,000. "The CFC is about giving back to the community," said Capt. Kaelin Thistlewood, 16th Special Operations Squadron flight commander. "As this year's motto said, 'serving our country by supporting our community'."
