Who wants a cookie Published Dec. 9, 2013 By Senior Airman Ericka Engblom 27th Special Operations Wing Public Affairs CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Air Commandos from Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., have come together this holiday season to make the Airmen of the dorms feel special by participating in Operation Cookie Drop. Volunteers from the city of Clovis, N.M., as well as from Cannon have made more than 14,000 cookies for the 1,200 Airmen who reside in the dorms. The base's first sergeants plan to personally deliver a bag of homemade goodies to every dorm Airman at Cannon. The base chapel will be helping with the deliveries and the construction of the cookie bags. "This a chance for the community to come together and distribute holiday cheer," said Master Sgt. Steven Pryor, 27th Special Operations Wing chapel superintendent. "We just want to remind the single Airmen that we care."
