Congressman Steve Pearce visits Cannon

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- U.S. Congressman Steve Pearce, the 2nd district representative of New Mexico, paid a visit to Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., Aug. 8. During his tour, Pearce met with Col. Tony Bauernfeind, 27th Special Operations Wing commander, surveyed ongoing base construction projects and observed flightline operations from the air traffic control tower. The purpose of his visit was to receive a comprehensive understanding of 27 SOW operations.
