Cannon Appreciation Day
All active duty military members, retirees, civilians and dependents are encouraged to attend Cannon Appreciation Day August 2. Hosted by the Curry County Chamber of Commerce, Committee of Fifty, Military Affairs Committee and the Clovis Industrial Development Corporation, the event has celebrated thousands of Cannon Airmen over the past 24 years. A barbeque with free food and beverages will be served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. with more than $4,000 worth of prizes that will be raffled off to Air Commandos throughout the festivities.
