CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Air Commandos browsing the Cannon Library will discover more than books during the library’s annual tech week March 9-13.
In an effort to promote the mobile apps, e-books and equipment for check-out available at the base library, the week will feature demonstrations for Air Commandos and families of the 27th Special Operations Wing.
“Cannon’s tech week is based on an American Library Association event geared toward teens,” said Jessica Severin, 27th Special Operations Force Support Squadron senior library technician. “We thought that everyone at Cannon should have a chance to learn about the technology we have available here.”
The wide range of resources might surprise those who only expect to find reading materials at the library.
“We offer much more than books here,” Severin said. “There is a lot more going on at our facility.”
