CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Cadets from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, visited Cannon for two days beginning Friday.
Throughout the duration of the visit, the group-- a mixture of first through fourth-class cadets-- received a mission brief during breakfast with Col. Matthew Smith, 27th Special Operations Wing vice commander, and observed demonstrations from several units within the 27th Special Operations Mission Support Group.
The event concluded with a barbeque and one-on-one time with wing leadership.
