This six-week campaign is a period of emergency preparedness informational programs that includes short videos, information booths, exercises, and training sessions

The base Emergency Management flight will conduct informational activities on base to help spread the word and make recommendations on preparedness activities for various weather hazards.

Some of the topics being addressed are: tornadoes, floods, wildfires, active shooter, and extreme heat. Air Commandos are encouraged to review the documents and videos located here.

The information provided at the aforementioned site can be used during commander’s calls and other gatherings to help prepare members and their loved ones for emergency situations.

Be on the look for informational booths set up at the Exchange, golf course, clinic, and dining facility. For more information about disaster preparedness, feel free to contact the emergency management flight at 575-784-1404.
