  • 16 SOS conducts Spirit 03 memorial flight

    The 16th Special Operations Squadron conducted a memorial flyover to honor the crew of Spirit 03, the last AC-130 gunship shot down in combat. The flyover was followed by a remembrance brief that highlighted advances made in the gunship community since the loss of Spirit 03.

    27th Special Operations Support Squadron independent duty medical technicians took part in the first casualty evacuation course offered at Cannon AFB. Previously, the course was only available at Hurlburt Field, Florida.
