27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron

The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron provides comprehensive contracting support, acquisition planning and business advice to the 27th Special Operations Wing and 12 associate units. 

The 27th SOCONS is responsible for providing rapid-responsive contingency contracting support for wartime deployments and disasters, as well as for acquiring mission critical supplies, services and construction requirements for Cannon Air Force Base customers. 

Military Contingency Contracting Officers deploy worldwide in support of wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, United States Special Operations Command and Air Force missions. Comprised of three Flights, the 27th SOCONS is a service organization. Additionally, the squadron also manages the Government Purchase Card and Base Quality Assurance programs. 

Finally, the squadron awards and effectively administers numerous critical contracting actions. 

The 27th SOCONS can be reached at (575) 784-2322. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The 27th Special Operations Wing and the Air Force Civil Engineer Center hosted a virtual public meeting to provide updates to its on-going actions to address Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), identified at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico.

This is the third meeting of a planned series of quarterly meetings focused on the Air Force’s response to PFAS. AFCEC’s environmental experts will be available to answer questions regarding these efforts. The Air Force welcomes and encourages public participation and involvement.
