Colonel HARRY L. SEIBERT, JR.

Col. Harry L. Seibert is the Commander, 27th Special Operations Maintenance Group, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. He leads four maintenance squadrons and a maintenance operations staff in providing aircraft maintenance support for all of Cannon's special operations aircraft, including the AC-130J Ghostrider gunship, MC- 130J Commando II special operations airlift aircraft, CV-22 Osprey tiltroter aircraft, U-28 Draco intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft, and MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft. Prior to his command, Col. Seibert served as Chief, Maintenance Division at Headquarters, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida, where he directed the division's staff in establishing policy and procedures applicable to Air Force special operations aircraft, support equipment and personnel.

Col. Seibert received his commission through Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps.  He has held assignments at the wing, major command, and Headquarters Air Force level, and has commanded at the squadron level three times and at the group level.  His operational experiences include Operations CONSTANT VIGIL, SOUTHERN WATCH, NORTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, INHERENT RESOLVE, and RESOLUTE SUPPORT.
