Thanks to the $16.6M contract awarded to Cannon AFB by the U.S. Air Force, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center was able to accelerate PFAS mitigation efforts and conduct a multi-tiered study of affected water at and around the Clovis-based military installation. In addition to the remedial investigation contract, the pilot study and the Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis projects will identify and evaluate alternative solutions to be implemented before the final remedy once all investigations are complete.
