Members of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Air Force Civil Engineer Center and Air Force contractors broke ground on construction for a pilot study that is working to address the per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) identified at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. on July 11, 2023. Once constructed, it will start treating impacted groundwater, provide valuable engineering data, and ultimately lead to a full-scale pump and treat system.
