26th STS remembers SrA Mark Forester
A member of the 26th Special Tactics Squadron secures the folded U.S. Flag during a retreat ceremony dedicated to the memory of Senior Airman Mark Forester, Sept. 29, 2015 at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. Forester was a Special Tactics combat controller who coordinated close air support for special operations teams in hostile environments. Forester was killed in action when he put himself in direct line of fire to save a teammate’s life in Afghanistan on Sept. 29, 2010.
