26th STS remembers SrA Mark Forester

The 26th Special Tactics Squadron performs push-ups dedicated to the memory of Senior Airman Mark Forester, Sept. 29, 2015 at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. Forester was a Special Tactics combat controller who coordinated close air support for special operations teams in hostile environments. Forester was killed in action when he put himself in direct line of fire to save a teammate’s life in Afghanistan on Sept. 29, 2010. He posthumously received the Silver Star medal for his heroism in battle against an enemy of the United States. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Manuel J. Martinez)
