Another milestone in unaccompanied housing

Col. Matthew Smith, 27th Special Operations Wing vice commander, and Airman 1st Class Tyler Nowling, 27th Special Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller, cut the ribbon on a new dorm facility May 18, 2016, at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. This $20.5 million project began in August 2014 and what completed 175 days prior to the original expected completion date; which is great news for current residents scheduled to occupy the new dorm as this facility will effectively end double-occupancy for the wing.
