AMC extends Osprey capabilities
A KC-10 Extender, assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., flies outside the front of a CV-22 Osprey aircraft, assigned to the 20 Special Operations Squadron, during a Tactical Air-Refueling mission March 11, 2019, over the Southwest region of the U.S. The two aircraft performed the TAR mission at an altitude of 10,000 ft. which is higher than normal for the Osprey but lower than normal for the Extender.
