Finance, contracting Airmen test deployment readiness
Airmen from the 27th Special Operations Comptroller Squadron operate during a joint-training exercise with 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron Airmen at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., Apr. 18, 2019. The training tested both units on both separate and joint exercises. Simulating a deployed environment, both units were tasked with handling day-to-day situations that happen in those locations, such as dealing with locals on financing certain events and items, ensuring people on-base are receiving the correct amount of money and going into the surrounding communities to purchase items for servicemembers on-base.
