Buddhist workshop comes to Cannon

7/12/2012 - CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M.  -- The Base Chapel sponsored the Buddhist Meditation and Yoga Workshop, at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., July, 8.

The event was lead by U.S. Army Capt. Somya Malasri, 593rd Sustainment Brigade chaplain, and included a yoga session as well as a home-made lunch buffet. Malasri is currently the only active duty Buddhist chaplain in the Army and agreed to come to Cannon in order to put on the workshop which was held in the Youth Center.
